Dr.
Ciccone uses the best
materials available to restore teeth when they’ve been damaged by
decay. When the damage is minimal, he is able to use a bonded, tooth
colored filling to replace the damaged tooth structure.
Sometimes the damage is too great to be restored with a filling. When this is the case, Dr. Ciccone will discuss with you what options we can provide to give you a beautiful tooth again. One of the options may be to have a crown placed on the tooth. This involves removing all the decay and taking an impression of the remaining tooth structure. Then 2-3 weeks later we will permanently cement a beautiful, lab fabricated crown on your tooth.
There
are other times
when the damage is irreversible, and the tooth must be removed. Due to
increasing technology, there are some wonderful replacement options
available. We can help you navigate the different options to find the
one that will be the best for you.
